Topcorner tracks your football training. Almost everything stays on your phone: no account in your name, no ads, and nothing you do is ever sold.
What stays on your phone
- Your profile: first name, year of birth, position, level, goals, your club week.
- Your sessions, tests, shots, juggling, matches and programme.
- The videos you film. They are analysed on the phone and go nowhere. They go to your Photos only when you ask.
- The microphone, when the app counts your passes against a wall: the sound is analysed live on the phone, never recorded or sent.
- Reminders: notifications scheduled on your phone, with no server.
Apple Health
If you allow it, Topcorner reads your sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate and workouts (with their distance), for your daily form and to light the days you played. The sessions you start with Topcorner on your Apple Watch are saved to Health as soccer workouts; Topcorner writes nothing else there. This data never leaves your phone and is never used for advertising.
Your iCloud backup
If iCloud is on for your phone, a copy of your data is kept in your private iCloud. We have no access to it. On a new phone, you get it back by signing in with Apple: signing in gives us neither your name nor your email.
Your team
If you create or join a team, what your teammates see is kept on our server (Google Firebase, in Europe): your first name, your card rating, the days you trained this week, your answers to fives, the goals and assists you declare, and what the team writes (its name, where fives are played). You are signed in with a random identifier, with no email or password. Only the players of your team (11 at most) see it.
- You can report a player or the team, and block a player: we read every report within 24 hours, and the captain can remove a player.
- Leaving the team removes your name, card and week from it; past fives keep their scores, without your name.
Usage analytics
To learn which screens help and where the app gets in the way, Topcorner sends usage events to Firebase Analytics (Google): the screens you see, the onboarding steps and your answers as codes (your age as a range, never your name), the sessions you start, the Pro offer opening and purchases. Firebase adds a random install identifier, the phone model, the iOS version, the language and the country.
- No advertising identifier, no ads, no tracking across apps.
- Nothing you type, no video, no Health data.
- This data is kept 14 months at most. Google processes it for us, including in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Purchases
The Topcorner Pro subscription goes through the App Store. Apple handles the payment: we see neither your card nor your identity, only whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat checks your purchases with Apple for us, with a random identifier (not your name or email).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or erase what concerns you.
- On your phone: deleting the app erases everything.
- In iCloud: Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Storage, Topcorner.
- Usage analytics are not tied to your identity: we cannot find one person's events. Deleting the app stops them.
You can also contact your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
